Grand slam to help himself last night.

Huascar Ynoa has more homers and RBIs this season than Francisco Lindor.

Minor League Analyst from 2 years ago ... "Hard-throwing RHP made surprise MLB debut in 2019 while pitching at 3 different minor league levels. Inconsistent cross-fire delivery screams RP role. Lacks command of high-90s FB with late run. Best pitch is a hard downer CB, which sits mid-to-high 80s and can be confused for a SL, it's that hard. CU is firm and mostly a show me pitch."

His walk rate was enough to keep anyone from noticing him before this year ... but perhaps we should have raised an eyebrow at 28 K's in 17 innings in ST ... although still with a notable number of walks (7).

But what the heck - only 1 walk per start in his two starts this season, and 5 K's in 5 last week before his dominant 10 K/6 IP last night.  51% of his pitches have been his fastball, and he's averaging 97 mph on it this year.
