I had a fellow fantasy owner go home to Tennessee one winter to see his family. After a couple of days there, he turned to his mom and said "Why is there a picture of Jason Isringhausen in our pool?"
She said, "Ask your sister."

Additionally, my cousin was the Assistant Trainer for the Mets in 1982-1985. His parents hosted Frank Howard (who was the 3B coach for several of those years). They said Howard was too tall for their sofa bed. It wasn't the same issue for Mookie Wilson, Hubie Brooks, and Wally Backman who came up through the minors with my cousin. They stayed at my great aunt and uncle's home as well before they got their apartments in the NY area. My great aunt's mixed accent from New Jersey via the Bronx, Cuba, and Lithuania, was something when she said Mookie and Hubie's names.

My hero during the mid-60s :-)
BP sez: since 1817 (yep, that’s right) only 10 guys 6’7” or taller have swatted 10 or more homers in a career. Two of them were pitchers.
... but they didn't provide a source/link/list ... so ... I'm just assuming Hondo is on that list :-)
Here's an article with 6'-6" guys listed ...
