With about 30% hitting inflation he heads my offense. I paid $30 and was pretty happy with the price considering the players around him on my list almost all went for more. Teoscar $36, Arozarena $31, Buxton $33. JD Martinez went $28.

I have Spencer Torkelson who will be activated to CM, Ibañez to 3B, and Arraez to OF to bench Laureano through the suspension.
I didn't spend a lot on offense, but I think it's credible. Obviously, I only have 1 catcher. But, Its ink the rest of my players give me strong AB except one OF spot. I should be able to compete in most offensive categories, although my average and SB are lower then usual and my HR are higher.

I play in AL-only leagues, 12 teams. Springer is just one of those guys who always goes for more than he's worth. Every league has a few.

How deep is your league? In a shallow league it's probably more worth ponying up, because while Springer's in the lineup you're going to get the production you paid for.
So you have to consider what kind of replacement is going to be available for some period of time when making your bid.

Ol George sells for $30+ every year in my leagues. Most years he comes close to earning it, but he never does get there.

Not sure why the xStats are so much lower than the actual.
In 29 games in the Rogers Centre he slashed .328/.392/.655.
He liked Buffalo even better: .333/.439/.688 in 14 games.
Away games were a whole other story (.183/.285/.400) for some reason.
