I suspect the Akiyama signing, barring a Senzel trade, will send Galvis bids well under double digits again ...

I think that's a legit fate for a WYSWYG 1+ WAR kind of guy ... there's always the perception on auction day that the next bright object will cut his ABs in half (or more) and there's no point in gambling that he'll have a 20+ season.

Last year he benefited by the Jays decision to leave Bichette down on the farm until late July ... in 2018 the Pads had Urias and Tatis queued up in the minors ... in 2017 JP Crawford was getting picked up in reserve rounds (or even bid on) as he was expected to replace Galvis mid-season.

But playing in Cinci this year ... with Iglesias gone ... I think he might be breaking the $10 mark in NL leagues.  Unless they make a deal I don't see anyone threatening his job.

His salary scan in the demo leagues since 2015, when he had a $14 season...

2016: $2

2017: $8

2018: $9

2019: $6
