1/2 point up overall after Frank Francisco got a save for a team not in contention but who took 1/2 a saves point away from my contender.

Even in Roto, there are heroes and goats.

A big Canada Day downer for the Blue Jays in front of their biggest crowd since Opening Day. Juan Rivera, inexplicably still patrolling left field in the ninth with the home team up by a run, didn't help matters, but a closer's supposed to deal with adversity. With a runner on third and no outs, maybe you don't get the save but at least get out of the inning tied.

One of the many hurting 'closers' right now.

I like your bid for 4x4, Toz (and have changed mine accordingly); in 5x5 I like Mike's. Right now, before he has officially been anointed the closer and while he is "dealing with general soreness" that is "nothing to worry about," according to Rotonews, "yet."

I usually tag these types of situations at $9 for bidding purposes in 5x5. In this case, it is likely a good number, just based on the sheer number of closers in this bullpen.

odds are he outlasts Dotel (his walk rate drives manager mad), but Rauch is also lurking. $10 is probably a fair bet (considering Dotel/Rauch).

These prices predate the change of scenery. I haven't sorted this out yet, there are a lot of possibilities in Toronto, but in my anemic bidding system for 5x5 closers FrankFrank probably gets closer to $10 at this point.

Francisco went for $12 and Dotel went for $7 in CBS last week.

given that he is the front-runner for saves in Toronto, and given his great K/W ratio (and lack of HR's), I think the change of scenery does him well - back to $18-$22
