The Twins can take solace in the fact that in the 2012 AL Wild Card game Joe Saunders of the Orioles went into the game vs Texas with a 6.48 career ERA against them but got the W in this game allowing 1 run in 5 2/3 innings......he proceeded to go 1-3 6.23 ERA vs Texas in 2013......but for that one night Saunders rose out of the ashes like The Phoenix to help the O's advance.

He has earned more than Chris Sale through four starts. (And Sale has been outstanding) I don't think that will be the same after 5 and especially after 30, but that's what makes small sample sizes interesting.
