His pinch-hit big fly with two on finally put the game away last night in Colorado. Going into the ninth, the score was tied 8-8. Dodgers had out-homered their hosts 5-1. They led 2-0, trailed  4-2, led 5-4, trailed 7-6 and led 8-7, before the Rockies tied it with their solitary homer, by McMahon, in the bottom of the 7th.

The 12th straight win for the Dodgers over the Rockies. Three walk-off wins last weekend in LA. Three more games to go in this series. In the last four-game series between these two teams in Coors, 92 runs were scored, setting a modern-day record. Seems like there's a fair chance they can tally 73 between them in the next three.

No, the Dodgers didn't play the D'Backs in the desert yesterday. They played in Dodger Stadium and by the final out six players had rounded the bases eight times.

Nine counting Adam Jones.

BABIP from 2014-2018: .278 .364 .234 .254 .278

Had a 400 point increase in OPS vs righties last year

IF his newfound success vs righties is legit and he finds a little bit of good BABIP fortune he might possibly steal a starting spot from Pederson, Muncy, or Taylor or at the very least 500 AB as one of the main parts of a 4 player 3 position rotation.

Just some food for thought if you own one of those other 3.
