Yes, the bench is thinned, but there are more AB now than there used to be in the NL. The NL average hitter had a higher batting average last year than his AL counterpart. What small pricing difference there has been recently between the leagues will all but disappear.

Signs with the nationals and let me just say one other thing here. The DH change in the NL means that almost every team is going to need a 2B/3B/SS guy because they've got one fewer bench spot now that there are 10 starters needed each game. No more CI, MI, CT, 2 OF on the bench.  Now it will be a DH (who starts), a 2/3/S guy, a CT, a CF, and a Corner-Outfielder/1B.
