Welcome! You are invited to wander around and read all of the comments that have been posted here at Patton & Co., but as soon as you register you can see the bid limits that Alex, Peter and Mike propose for each player, and you can post your own comments. Registering is free, so please join us!

The second fantasy mag has appeared at the B&N on Union Square; Street & Smith's. It's a nice companion to the first (Rotoman's Guide). Not nearly has many player profiles, but hitters and pitchers are listed alphabetically (any other way drives me crazy), the comments are solid with a no-nonsense Fantasy Spin, and some of the players get a color-coded graphic (green good, red bad) to indicate the direction they are going.

Dee gets a red.

Fantasy Spin: Rarely do we see speedsters bounce back once the ball drops in their 30s. Gordon still runs enough to be useful but don't expect 60 steals again.

"Scouting reports for all players," we are told, "were written by contributing editor Seth Trachtman."

Peter, you are such a slacker!

Seth also wrote three of the essays that kick things off. Did he draw the shortest straw for the mock draft?

Possibly. But in a 12-team mixie, there are plenty of good players left when your turn finally arrives. Seth picked Max Scherzer.

And then, to start the second round, he picked Ronald Acuna.

Dee went to Charlie Wiegert near the end of Round 8.
