Looks like toast. Athletics Nation is clamoring for him to be banished.

I grabbed him as a reserve in a mixed league draft, should be good for home starts and 2-start weeks anyway.

Has looked Ok this spring, thus far. I still think he starts the season in the A's rotation despite the great young arms in camp. I also still plan to keep him at a buck.

The real danger for Eveland is that he's got Anderson and Cahill coming up behind him, with a half dozen lesser lights who also aren't that far away. Eveland probably has a half season to (wait for it) round back into form, lest he wind up getting rolled into the dustbin of history.

Moderately talented player who has no interest in taking care of his body enough to be a player. I hate calling fat people lazy, because many are just fat...but from all I have heard, he is indeed fat and lazy.

Awful on the road and awful in the second half.

Part of his second half collapse was his loss of control, and I also think conditioning may have come into play. He pitched past the 6th in only 10 of his 29 starts.

His solid ML track record and his 1st half in 2008 leads you to believe he can be a solid 4th or 5th starter, but he needs to be more consistent.

I have the fat kid at a buck, and plan on keeping him, but I will have a short leash if he continues to walk batters.
