Oddly enough, his career dWAR (Baseball-Reference version) is exactly the same as Robinson's.

If you watched both play, you would say that's very odd.

His defensive reputation was greater than the results. FRAA -19 and -1 per 1200 innings for his career and only 1 more assist than errors143-142) for his career in the OF. Compare that to Harold Baines who people think of as just a DH......Over 1000 starts in the OF FRAA -12 and -2 per 1200 innings 71 Ast to 47 Er.
