Clearing out my office, thumbing through the summer stack of Baseball America's...

The DH on the Minor League All-Surprise Team in the July 18-August 1 issue: Christian Walker, Orioles (AA). His stats: .313-18-30 in 320 AB. The comment: "Orioles expected more power but probably not Eastern-League leading totals for HR, RBIs."

He had 46 more AB in the EL, hitting two more homers, before being promted to the IL, where he hit .259-6-19 in 166 AB.

As we see, he hit 27 homers all told last season.

When we switch over to the new site (any day now), we will upload the 2014 minor league stats for all players at every level. We might even have the AFL stats when that season concludes.

We're not Baseball America, but we try.
