If the BABIP rebounds, there's no reason why he shouldn't get 400 ABs with the Royals ... I'd think last years bid ($9-10) suddenly looks reasonable again.

05.21: Chris Owings went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts as the Diamondbacks' No. 2 hitter in Monday'sloss. (Owings, who was slated to be a utilityman once the Diamondbacks settled on Nick Ahmed as a shortstop, has had every opportunity he could have hoped for because of the team's injuries, yet he's done nothing with them. He's hitting .198/.263/.302 in 126 at-bats. He's even been thrown out on three of seven steal attempts after going 21-for-23 in 119 games in 2016 and 12-for-14 in 97 games last year.)

Ahmed was removed from Saturday's lineup card due to illness.
ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Ahmed was initially plugged into the starting nine for the first time since Monday's contest, but now the shortstop will miss a fourth straight game due to illness. Chris Owings was inserted into the lineup and will man the keystone while Ketel Marte moves over to the shortstop position.
