The big winners in the Didi Gregorius deal to the Yankees could very well be Owings owners. I think it's time to move Owings up a notch or two on my draft board for 2015.

Has almost as many multi hit games(19)as single hit games(21)since he came up last year.

This got me to thinking how often do players get at least one more hit after getting their 1st hit in a game compared to getting no more hits.

I check Trout's games and he's had 139 multi hit games and 138 single hit games in his career.

agree this is optimistic, though of course he "can" steal 30. He just needs to run that often. Given the DBacks direction, he just might this year as they try to make something, anything happen in the desert.

Evidence says he doesn't generally run quite that often or that successfully though. Probably settles in long-term around 15-20 depending on the manager and where he hits in the order.

30 is expecting a lot of upside, given that his best minor-league year was 20 SB with 7 CS. So far so good though.

Is Owings a 30 steal guy? Does he get moved up in the order? Trying to evaluate whether it is worth trading Cargo for a $5 Owings and Almora in a dump deal. Leaning against but curious what people think.

In a bit of a surprise Owings wins the job in the desert and Didi G is heading to Reno. Mixed League owners should be preparing a decent FAAB bid for tomorrow if he's still available.
