Homered against Happ in the third inning.
I tuned in minutes late. Did he bow to the fans?
How come there aren't more afternoon games? Wouldn't they get pretty good ratings?

Need a new stat. Hand washes per 9 innings in order to project a reliability score.

I think that Covid changes the math for the auction this year. I think there is something to be said for paying a bit more for backups, especially ones who can play multiple positions and a bit less for stars since the normal concept of resilient to injury players loses some meaning in the face of Covid. Who cares how repeatable and stress-free your throwing motion is if you can go down just as easily as the guy who seems to always tweak his elbow.

Anniversary of his being #1 pick in 2010 ... and a story of him making Joey Gallo cry :-)

Cuz shhh. He's so set up for a big year. Harper was falling behind in the count too much early, but then he started swinging at the get-me-over crooked stuff and doing damage. I'm pissed I didn't go the extra buck at Tout Wars. I will if we get another crack at it.

Hit 20 dingers in the second half; 11-for-11 in stolen bases.
How come I'm the only one who writes a comment about Bryce Harper?

$37 in Tout.
He was slashing .500/.591/1.250 this spring.

I'm surprised by the different ways players are reacting to this.
The same goes for members of my home league.

The last guy on the list that Peter conjured on Tim Anderson's page. No. 112. As you scan down the list, you see five players with black ink in the HR column: Dante Bichette, Adrian Beltre, Miguel Cabrera, Larry Walker and Bryce Harper.
