Collusion? How can there be collusion if the Marlins sign a free agent?

Collin Whithurst, ranking the free agents at BP:

45. Brock Holt
Position (bats): IF (L)
Age (as of 4/1/20): 31
2019 team: Red Sox

Observation: Holt can play everywhere and fits perfectly in his part-time role. He has virtually no power, doesn’t steal bases, but he makes contact, gets on base, and can hold his own at a good number of positions.

Prediction: The Marlins have an opening at second base and could convince Holt to come there with the promise of full-time work.

$2 in Tout.

Finally gets some respect after CBS and LABR take a pass.

Talking to the guy in the booth while playing left field today in the game on ESPN: "Hold on, I've got to check where I'm supposed to play." Gets a card out of his back pocket, moves two steps to his left. Continues talking. A brief pause while he retrieves a ball hit into the left field corner and throws it to the cutoff man, keeping the runner on first from scoring. Carrie Underwood, he decides, is the third person he'd like to have dinner with.
