I have thought about buying all Panned players and avoiding all Picked players next year, but I doubt I have the guts.

My bad.

PATTON PAN: Last year was as good as it gets.

Tim is acting blase but I want readers to know he's tickled pink.

When Tatis went down, Tim and I both took a hit in our gripping battle (with each other, though we both have made runs at first from time to time) in Doubt Mixed 2. The Brian Anderson injury is mine, all mine.

Right now, Tanks are in third with 75 points. Run TMc is in fourth with 73 points. (Team in first has 81.)

Plenty more injuries to come, just a question on which side they land.

There were only 8 games last night and 4 players hit 2 HR!

And another knock in the 4th to make it 20.

Oh ... and make that 24 days in a row for someone hitting 2 out.

About to join the 20 HR club with his next dinger.

Since June 18, over 44 games he's hit 12 HR with a .900+ OPS after tonight (after 7 HR and a .710 OPS over his first 69 games).

Joins the club. Slugging .583 over the last three weeks.

A very disappointing season so far ... line drive rate slightly up, hard hit ball percentage relatively flat ... but slight uptick in K rate and slight downtick in BABIP have made him an offensive liability.  90.2 mph avg exit velocity and 9% avg ball angle isn't going to do much if you don't have speed.  He feels a lot like Nick Markakis with bad luck.

I found Nick and have created a target for him. But he was buried so deep he's not showing yet. Hopefully we'll get him with today's state feed.
