Six scoreless innings yesterday. Didn't get the W but it was his third Quality Start in his five games since coming off the DL.

And when he was bad he was horrid. 2.63 ERA to start today's game. We'll see what it is when the inning finishes. He didn't make it through the first.

Morrow seemed to be one of those guys who was lights-out when he had his best stuff and close to helpless when he didn't. This year my impression is he hasn't been lights-out quite as often, while he's yet to be helpless.

Went for $18 in the ADL. I didn't come close. Neither did Peter.

At the quarter post he's behind only Verlander, Weaver, and Peavy for earnings. The top 2 were expected. The next two are suprises.

I liked his comments last summer about how successful he was in the sabermetric stats. He knows he was screwing it up, but has a sense of perspective about it. I really hope I'm not in a bidding war in my 4x4 league, but I will own him if the price isn't crazy.

Don't tell Alex. Or Steve or Walter or Bruce or, oh forget it.

He couldn't pitch with runners on base to save his life. He had the third worst strand rate in baseball among qualified pitchers. With a bit of luck, he will be a top pitcher.

He was the 35th starting pitcher taken in a very interesting (mixed league) slow draft I'm doing at the moment. I think that's about right.
