On the DL. He looked fearsome as the M's closer, and if healthy should be right below the elites in terms of value.

Aardsma wasn't much better... Maybe a couple of bucks on Cordero isn't such a bad move.

Looked awful tonight after getting two outs in the 9th. He walked 3 straight hitters and was removed. Ultimately, he took the loss. One walk was to Carlos Gomez. That's got to tell you something. That guy hasn't met a pitch he didn't like.

Says he's the closer.

I think the M's will entertain the notion of Rowland-Smith as closer. I still believe Heilman will eventually start for them.

I'd keep him in the pen as the closer. He can get through one inning with his fastball. Heilman maybe can, Batista for sure can't.

Here's hoping the M's keep Morrow in the rotation, and use either Heilman or Batista as closer.

Bedard, Felix, Washburn, Silva, Batista, Rowland-Smith, and now Heilman in the mix for starts. Sure, the back end of the rotation gets iffy pretty quickly, but does Morrow stay a starter or is he back in the pen?

I love this kid. Has all the makings of being an ace.

Cut down on the walks, and like Eugene stated, looks like he's found himslef as a pitcher.

Did give up quite a few long flies last year, but that is partly a trade off with his improved control.

I would have no reservations bidding $15-$17 on him.
