Homered in the fourth inning today for the game's only run.

Knocked in the winning run in the top of the 14th in Miami.

Giants are 9-6 in extra innings and 23-15 in one-run games. They are so tough -- every year, it seems -- in close games that it can't be luck.

His work at the dish was equaled, or surpassed, by his play in the field. According to all the metrics. Simmons nudges him out in Runs Saved (25 to 20) and dWAR (3.5 to 2.9) but doesn't compare at the dish.
