Key play of the game: Crawford swinging at a 3-2 pitch that clearly was ball four.

If he takes it, the Giants have the tying run in scoring pitcher, the winning run on base.

And Finnegan comes out, Davis comes in with seven outs to go. So maybe it wasn't so key.

The crew doing last nights game made mention numerous times that Crawford's slam was the first "ever" by a shortstop in post-season play. First ever??

Came up big last night in the big game in AT&T. Walk, double, homer, three ribbies, two runs scored. Tenth straight home win for the Giants.

Greinke takes his 9-0 record against the NL West to the mound tonight for the Dodgers. I wouldn't bet on him.

I have to say, this is more than a little impressive.

I thought I saw Utley hit one the other day? But it must have hit the top of the fence.

Thank goodness for this guy- the only one of my 14 hitters showing any semblance of hitting HRs.

I think this is a HR drought of epic proportions and I would be curious to know if anyone has ever seen one like this for an entire team.

A walkoff McCovey Cove homer (his first) to win the game yesterday. Rex Brothers was the victim. Crawford hit .199 against lefties last year, is now 7 for 14 this year.

While he was (carefully) landing on home plate a guy bobbing in a life jacket was ecstatically waving the ball in the air.
