A big day in the Trop. A two-homer day with the second one being absolutely crushed. I can see the potential for back-to-back "picks" come Guide time.

Tucked away on our DL; full credit to my partner a few weeks back, who said, "Y'know, for a FAAB buck, what the heck?" Now, if some of his ABs come from Viceido (see below), it's a mixed blessing, but . . .

Garcia Alert! The torn labrum that he suffered in April was supposed to keep him sidelined for the entire season, but Garcia has proven to be a quick healer. He's now eight games into his rehab stint at Triple-A Charlotte and has gone 13-for-30 with one homer and eight runs scored. He was initially limited to the DH role, but as of Thursday he's back playing in the OF. Assuming there are no setbacks, it appears that Garcia will be ready to roll by the end of August. Buying in a bit early could be a prudent move.

Offered Morse and Lackey for him in my deep mixed and was turned down.

Feeling lucky...

Done for the year with a torn labrum.

The injuries just continue to mount.
