I'm trying to think who has a better right-handed swing? Two more homers last night. One to center, one to left. Drew a walk, grounded hard to third, hit a fly ball to the fence in right center.

I had an odd draft in my 5x5 OBP 12 team AL+Washington Nationals league.

I got Rendon early below my inflation price by a good margin, then I got Happ well under as well, but then I spent a good half of the auction doing nothing at all as players went above my price.  Ultimately a couple guys went below, but in one particular case I was foreclosed positionally.  My closer committee is likely going to be a bust.  But, there's one team with no closer, another with only May (for whatever he's worth), and a third with only Givens.

Like prior years there were a lot of dollars left on the table at the end.  I only left $2, but my relief pitching gambit was not by design, it was out of desperation.  I had too much cash and all of the real closers were already gone.  Today the Monkey said Gearrin was #1 in the bullpen.  He imploded some time around when I took him.

Rendon third in MVP race in 19 is bold. The rest? Not so much.

Pushed up to $33 in CBS, as was Bryant.  Then again Arenado went for $49.

Hit .300 at home last year. Surprisingly, that puts him in the NL top 10. From the Handbook:

Home BA

(minimum 251 PA)

Nolan Arenado .347

David Peralta ,341

Charlie Blackmon .334

Christian Yelich .324

Anthony Rizzo .323

Jose Martinez .319

DJ LeMahieu .317

Trevor Story .308

Freddie Freeman .304

Anthony Rendon .300

Four Rockies.

Rendon, Freeman and Yelich are also in the top 10 in Away BA.
