A Quality Start in Seattle but didn't get the W. He had two starts this week, which is why he was on my roster in the American Dreams. So far I've had 13 starts. Thirteen. Wouldn't you think they'd result in at least a couple of wins?

Nope.

One. One win, six losses.

The ERA?

Okay, the combined ERA is 6.64, so I guess I can't really complain about bad luck.

But Adrian Sampson pitched well enough to win last night (two earned runs in 6.7 IP) and Ryan Borucki wasn't horrible (four earned runs in 6.2 IP).

I have three more starters toeing the mound today: Brett Anderson, Yovani Gallardo and Spencer Turnbull.

Maybe I'll get lucky.

It won't make much difference to me, to tell the truth, but the first and second place teams will be watching closely.
