With talk of him going into the rotation, Warren got the save last night against the Blue Jays. Thornton started the inning and might have finished the inning if he hadn't allowed a one-hit.

Both Robertson and Bettances had pitched in the two previous games, but Warren had pitched two innings the day before, retiring all six batters to get his 12th hold.

Warren's 2013 stats need to be cleaned up. That aside, almost two months after Slyke's comment and Warren is still holding his own... and then some.

Came into the 8th inning today and retired the side, with 2 more K's.

He's been a surprise out of the Yankees pen the first 2 weeks. With Betances and Kelley, the Yankees appear to have a nice back end of the bullpen once Robertson come back.
