Hit HR number 49 this afternoon...Arguably the best rookie season ever by a MLB player.
And what he is doing in September in a pennant race as a rookie is extremely impressive.

2 more bombs yesterday.
After a poor July and August, Judge has tore it up in September, slashing .296/.436/.831 this month with 11 HR's and 23 RBI in 21 games.
He leads the AL in HR's, runs, BB's.....and K's.
One HR away from tying McGwire's rookie HR record.

From Baseball America...
Aaron Judge, OF, Yankees. Judge doubled on Saturday, but he also struck out twice, giving him 201 strikeouts on the season. Mark Reynolds' 223 strikeouts in 2009 seems safe, but Judge has now moved into the top 10 all-time for strikeouts in a single-season. Every one of the top 17 hitter's strikeout seasons has been compiled in the past decade. At the start of the century, Bobby Bonds' 189 strikeouts in 1970 was the all-time record. Now it's 24th.

someone on social media made the point that Judge's sac fly last night on a high fastball is a pitch he could have missed badly last month. so maybe the shoulder was more of an issue than he or the Yankees were letting on.

Judge (45th) and Gary Sanchez (32nd) just went back-to-back in the 3rd inning.
The HR totals keep compiling.

I reviewed, he has 11 HR in 53 ABs this year, so he'd only have 103. Only a hyperbole by a power of 2.

He might, Eugene.
In 22 career games against Baltimore, he has 11 HR and 24 RBI with 65 total bases and slashing .391/.533/.942.
Wow....

If Judge only faced the Orioles he'd probably have 200 HR.

2 more bombs last night...and no-doubters. But it seems like all his HR's (like Stanton's) are no doubters this year. I mean, the OF's rarely move on their HR's, other than just turn around to see where they land.
