I noticed that too, and was pretty confused, and initially decided to ignore the whole Minnesota mess, but now am thinking of trying to pick up a few of them. I play 4x4 where the good middlemen don't hurt and the whole Minnesota pen has done well this spring.

It's strange that Neshek wasn't even part of the mix that was named yesterday. Maybe Gardy has a fantasy baseball team.

In re Blog 5 March: He played fantasy baseball while injured in 09. Talks about post TJ surgery, esp. sometimes takes 2 years to extend arm before familiar & natural pain comes back after pitching. Mentions zone. Now no word for 6 days- trials & tribulations of comeback + heighten pressure of competing to replace Nathan? Should he become the closer we may see some real insight during the season. LIMA guy at least, but closer competition may make him to pricey for gamble at our auction one week before season opener. We'll see.

Season after season, best blog in MLB. Hope he's back, as the timing is propitious for both him & Twins, but that motion has gotta put a lot of physical stress. Could easily be a re-injury candidate, but colorful guy who can get 'em out when healthy. Everything I see leads me to think Mijares will get the first shot.

If he's healthy, this is the guy who could be the Twins' closer. He missed all of 2009 after November 2008 TJ. I think the timeline is a little compressed, but if Mijares isn't the best choice, Neshek is.
